Where do I park?

There is ample FREE parking within walking distance to Sweetland including off-street parking surrounding the venue, the LaGrange High School Parking lot and Troup County Government Center parking deck.

On-site, there are over 100 VIP parking spaces located at Sweetland Amphitheatre in our West Gate Parking Lot. For those events requiring them (i.e. the Summer Concert Series), VIP parking passes can be purchased online when you purchase event tickets. For handicapped accessible parking, there are six accessible parking spaces located at the Sweetland Pavilion Main Entrance as well as 20 in the West Gate Parking Lot.

Where should I purchase tickets?

Please visit Sweetland’s events page for a full list of events, their ticket on-sale dates, prices and links to Ticket Alternative, our ticketing partner, where you can purchase your tickets online. You may also call Ticket Alternative at 877-725-8849 to speak with a customer service representative (service fees will apply).

In addition, the Sweetland Amphitheatre Box Office, located at 110 Smith Street, is open three hours prior to the gate time on the night of the performance and remains open until approximately 30 minutes after the headliner begins. In order to expedite the ticket purchasing process on the night of an event, the Box Office will only sell night-of tickets. The Box Office only accepts cash, debit cards, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. Checks are not accepted.

Does a child need a ticket?

Yes, every person who attends an event for which tickets are sold must have a valid ticket in order to gain admission.

How many people can sit at a table?

Sweetland offers two table options, the Orchestra VIP table and Terrace Box Tents. Both are sold as a whole table and seat six.

What if I buy a ticket and cannot attend?

No refunds or exchanges will be offered in the event you are unable to attend an event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, tickets may be refunded at the original point of purchase.

Are there concessions on site?

Yes. Sweetland provides an ample selection of food and beverages available for purchase at our concession counter located at the base of the Sweetland Pavilion adjacent to the Great Lawn. There you will find a wonderful selection of snacks and pre-boxed dinners along with ice-cold water and Coca-Cola products — for a sample of their menu, click here. Beer and wine by the glass or bottle will also be available for purchase at any of our satellite beverage carts located throughout the venue. Also, be sure to check out the Caterer’s Corner on our website for a list of participating restaurants and caterers offering a selection of appetizers, salads, entrees and boxed dinners that you can order ahead and pick up upon your arrival to Sweetland!

May I smoke in the venue?

Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area located on the Great Lawn to the west of the Pavilion. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in all seating areas including the lawn. Violation of this policy may result in expulsion from the venue.

Can I tailgate prior to the concert?

No. Due to the respective Troup County and the City of LaGrange regulations, alcohol consumption and open flames (i.e. grills) are not permitted in public spaces.

However, we encourage you to head inside Sweetland as soon as you arrive. There is plenty of room inside the venue to enjoy available food and beverage. At the end of the event, as you wait to exit the parking lots, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We are working very diligently to get patrons home as quickly and safely as possible. However, sometimes, despite our best efforts, the only thing that can be done is to wait for the traffic congestion to dissipate.

What if it rains?

All events at Sweetland are held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges will be offered in the event of rain. While we prefer you bring a raincoat or poncho, small umbrellas are allowed at certain shows. We encourage guests to please monitor the weather and dress accordingly.

May I bring a table or TV tray?

No, however a limited number of complimentary TV trays will be available at the West Gate entrance for use by our patrons seated in our Reserved or Premium Reserved seats. This allows those patrons seated in the reserved seating section to create a quaint dining experience right at their seats by enjoying the food they purchase inside the venue or pick up from the Caterer’s Corner. We ask patrons to please return their TV trays to the West Gate when they are done.

Tables and TV trays are not permitted in the Orchestra Pit or General Admission Lawn.

Please remember, only those events labeled “Picnic Approved” will coolers and picnic baskets be permitted (restrictions apply). Coolers, tables and picnic baskets are NOT permitted at any of the six Summer Concert Series events. Be sure to carefully check your event ticket and online event information to determine if there are any restrictions on what you are allowed to bring inside the venue.

Are cameras allowed?

Guests may bring in non-professional (point-and-shoot) style cameras with no removable lens. Use of video cameras is strictly prohibited.

What should I do if there is an emergency?

Sweetland Amphitheatre staff members are trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. Emergency Management Technicians (EMTs) will be on hand at all large-scale performances. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Devices are located at both the Pavilion Box Office and Stage House. In the event of an emergency, please let one of our ushers or security personnel know you are in need of assistance and follow instructions of staff members to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

Where is Sweetland Amphitheatre located?

Sweetland is conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown LaGrange and is easily accessible from both I-85 and I-185. The physical address is 110 Smith Street, LaGrange, GA, 38240.

How do I purchase single tickets?

Single tickets for 2016 Sweetland Amphitheatre concerts are available for purchase through our ticketing partner, Ticket Alternative. You can purchase tickets through this website or by calling Ticket Alternative’s customer service at 1-877-725-8849 (service fees will apply).

How do I purchase group tickets?

Group tickets for Sweetland Amphitheatre concerts are available for purchase through our ticketing partner, Ticket Alternative. Please contact customer service at 1-877-725-8849 to let them know how many are in your party and if you will need any special assistance (service charges may apply).

What time do gates open?

Please check your ticket or the Events page for gate open times as it varies by show. Typically gates open one hour prior to the show start time.

Are there handicap accessible seats?

Sweetland Amphitheatre is completely wheelchair accessible for all guests with disabilities. You can purchase accessible seats and companion seats online or speak with a customer service representative at Ticket Alternative, our ticketing partner, at 1-877-725-8849 (service charges may apply).

In order to expedite your entrance into the venue for “Picnic Approved” events, please follow these guidelines regarding your coolers and picnic baskets:

  • PICNIC BASKETS, COOLERS & BAGS MAXIMUM SIZE: 23” wide by 16” deep and 38 quarts. STRICTLY ENFORCED.
  • TABLES OF ANY SIZE ARE PROHIBITED on the General Admission Lawn or VIP Orchestra Pit areas.

Purchase at the show

Running short on time? Relax! We provide an ample selection of food and beverages available for purchase at our concession counter located at the base of the Sweetland Pavilion adjacent to the Great Lawn. There you will find a wonderful selection of snacks and pre-boxed dinners along with ice-cold water and Coca-Cola products. Beer and wine by the glass or bottle will also be available for purchase at any of our satellite beverage carts located throughout the venue.

Order ahead from our caterers

Don’t feel like cooking? Patrons simply place their orders directly with each restaurant by the deadline and their pre-boxed meals will be awaiting them upon their arrival and can be picked up at the Caterer’s Corner Tent located on the Great Lawn. For a real treat, allow them to set up your table or tent so all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself (additional fees apply)- entertaining made easy!!

Small tables will also be available for purchase in our merchandise tent located on the Great Lawn that you can easily carry to your Premium Reserved or Reserved Seat.

What is allowed on the General Admission lawn?

Blankets and low profile, beach-style chairs are allowed on the lawn. Because of the natural slope of the lawn,  tables are NOT permitted.

What time do concerts usually conclude?

Concerts typically conclude by 10:30 pm, but never later than 11pm. All guests at the Amphitheatre are required to exit the facility immediately at the conclusion of the event.

What happens if an event is cancelled or postponed?

In the event that an event is cancelled or rescheduled, information is immediately sent to the local media for distribution and placed on the Sweetland Amphitheatre website, Facebook and Instagram pages. Please be aware that there is no way to contact individual ticket holders other than local media.

If an event is cancelled, refunds will be available at the original point of purchase only. Customers that purchased tickets through Ticket Alternative online or over the phone should be refunded automatically within a week of canceling the event. Customers who purchased tickets through the Box Office must return to the Box Office with their tickets and the original method of payment to receive a refund. If the event is rescheduled, tickets purchased for the original date will be honored on the new event date. In most cases, refunds will also be available at the original point of purchase up until the new event date has passed.

What size coolers are allowed?

Only those events labeled “Picnic Approved” will coolers and picnic baskets be permitted (restrictions apply). Coolers and picnic baskets are NOT permitted at any of the Summer Concert Series or Non-Series Concert events. Be sure to carefully check your event ticket and online event information to determine if there are any restrictions on what you are allowed to bring inside the venue.

May I use an electronic cigarette in the venue?

Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) may only be used in the designated smoking area located on the Great Lawn to the west of the Pavilion. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all seating areas including the lawn and pine straw area. This includes electronic/vapor cigarettes.

Is there an ATM inside the amphitheatre?

No. There are no ATMs inside the venue, however there are numerous locations within a mile from the venue. Please plan accordingly.

When does the box office open?

The Box Office opens three hours prior to the gate time on the night of the performance and remains open until approximately 30 minutes after the headliner begins. In order to expedite the ticket purchasing process on the night of an event, the Box Office will only sell night-of tickets.

Can I leave the show and then re-enter?

Re-entry is strictly prohibited. Guests who need to leave and re-enter should contact a Guest Services representative for assistance and exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis as determined by the representative or by the Amphitheatre Director or her designee.

Where is lost and found?

Lost and found is located at the Guest Services window at the main entrance gate. Sweetland is not responsible for items lost, misplaced or stolen. Items will remain in lost and found for thirty days; call 706-298-5434 to recover lost items.

Sweetland Amphitheatre

Where tall pines sway to the rhythm of a southern breeze, sits the South’s sweetest stage in the heart of historic of downtown LaGrange, Georgia.
